Amy Remis is done trying to catch the eyes of the two men that she’s been crushing on since she was fourteen. The reader's familiarity with all of that is more or less assumed in this book, and while you will pick up enough background to follow this book, it might be a more rewarding and coherent read after Volume 1. Yes, that makes sense. You’re never too old to be reminded that you should love yourself and celebrate all that is great about you. Enough intrigue to keep the pages turning, and unsuspected surprises when I did. She was no nonsense and totally honest with Allie and called her out on her stuff, and I loved that. She did have many admirable qualities and the story was fine.
